HIP HOP INTEREST GROUP
WHO ARE WE
As part of CREATE Club, Style Groovaz Crew is Republic Polytechnic's Hip Hop Interest Group housed within The Republic Cultural Centre. The crew hones their artistry predominantly in Hip Hop and Breaking. Style Groovaz Crew has progressively been exposed to other genres such as Dancehall, Waacking and Popping.
The crew produces their own productions such as "RPresenting to the Fullest" - A Street Dance Competition, and "Emergence" - An Annual Freshie Debut Showcase.
Besides their own productions, the crew also actively participates in dance battles such as Origins Interschool, and national dance competitions such as Super 24 where they were crowned Champions in 2017.
